MiniPax™ Conformance ( format)

MiniPax™ is a complete solution for medical and digital images. MiniPax™ is an optional module of VascuBase™, VascuPro™ and/or EKO™ applications to acquire, display, analyze and store study images.

Features of MiniPax™

• Does not require specific hardware, but can work on the hardware that you select to fit your needs. Images stored in DICOM format in DICOM directory structure. Can be purchased in two configurations:
• Software only solution: MiniPax™ manages images on its own on any assigned storage or can also store and retrieve images from an existing PACS system.
• Complete software and hardware turn key solution: all required hardware and software are provided pre-configured to your needs. You can start with 2-4 terabytes and MiniPax™ will grow with your needs.
• Complete image archiving solution including support of multiple on-line/offline media.
• Modality worklist: MiniPax automatically populates patient demographics on the imaging modality. The patient demographic can be directly acquired via HL7 ordering interface or entered directly into the scheduler.
• MiniPax™ acquires study data directly from imaging modality. It completely supports DICOM SR (Vascular and Echo standards). It can also acquire study data from older equipment via serial or serial to Ethernet ports (to avid direct cable connection with equipment)
• Post examination image processing: you can retake measurements (Doppler data, e.g., velocity or diameter, length, angle, etc) of any DICOM image and your measurements will be automatically stored in the database as if they were taken during the actual examination.
• MiniPax™ supports viewing and storing images generated from ultrasound, x ray, e.g., arteriogram, CT, MRI, ECG and other modalities.
• The application is implemented as a Microsoft Windows service, running continuously in the background with a SQL Server database. It automatically starts when the server is rebooted without the need for logging in.
• MiniPax™ supports automatic comparison of images of prior studies. While viewing an image of a study, e.g., left carotid bulb, you can select "compare with last study". MiniPax™ will instantly display the image of the same segment of last study side by side with current image.
• Support copying patients study reports and images in DICOM or Digital format on media with a single mouse click
• Supports DICOM Q&R with PACS systems.
• Supports acquiring and viewing DICOM waveforms with single or multi-channels.
